Net-a-Porter Office Visit | Interview

Net-a-porter ♡ I had the pleasure to meet with the amazing Caroline and Ahmed at Net-a-porter offices in London. Their work place is fabulous, huge space, amazing sunlight and a black & white atmosphere; just as if they were wrapped in the gorgeous Net-a-Porter box.

Want to know what's behind the black and white secret of Net-a-porter? Caroline told me the story About when Natalie's mom was a Chanel model and as you all know Chanel always has black and white Pieces going down the runway. So Natalie grew up loving those two colors and interpreted it into her own business (Natalie is the owner of Net-a-porter).

*This is where they sit and show case their shows. Amazing sitting area.

The meeting was very successful they talked about all the F/W trends, new designers and most of all what us buyers would love to see. Net a porter is doing an amazing job introducing new designers, or designers that have been forgotten by the fashion industry. Carven? Have you ever heard about this designer? Well, Carven used to be in the house of Givenchy and now he's working on his own line, All amazing pieces that you will soon see featured on the website.

Introducing new designers is what makes Net-a-porter unique! Halston heritage, étoille, Iro, the fabulous Isabel Marant (that the website stock a lot of their pieces), J.crew (which now is a big name in the US), Victoria Beckham, Preen, RM by Roland Mouret and Rick Owens. And many more!

Trends for F/W, Well Nude is still on and richer than ever. As Ahmed said camel color is been used everywhere in this season. For example, Carven, Chloé, Stella McCartney. Who wouldn't want to own an amazing camel colored coat? Or a Chloé camel trousers? Sheerling boots as well you'll see them everywhere. Burrbery, Chloé, Rupert Sanderson and Marni. Leaopard prints never go out of style as the trend is back once again. Different colored black and white leather print (Stella Mc cartney's jumpsuit) and brown colored (same as the YSL scarf).

As for Bags and shoes this season it's all about exotic leathers. Pythons, leaopard prints and crocodile skin are being used by all the amazing shoe designers From Brian atwood, Christian Louboutin, Rupert Sanderson and Giuseppe Zanotti.

The bags are all about the classics! The muse bag by Ysl, Alexander McQueen skull clutch, Alexnader Wang bag, Nancy Gonzalez crocodile bags and clutches. To top it all off, complete the looks with to die for accessories and belts.

*A photo shoot is going on in the showroom. Where they take photos of the products on a real models for the magazine and home page, and the mannequins to show case the pieces.

*In these two television's it shows what product has been purchased from Net-a-Porter and the other indicates from which country! I know isn't it GREAT?

*The library.

Note to all the Fashionista's - You should all buy a piece of Alexander McQueen's collection as it's the last one which was designed by him. RIP McQueen.
